From the very early stages of planning …fyi knew that the Barclaycard British Summertime Festival was going to be special, working alongside organisers AEG, …fyi were delighted to be a part of it!
Being a brand new festival …fyi were on hand from conception through completion designing and creating a relaxing enjoyable space complete with catering and gin tastings.
Providing catering, dressing room riders and event design plus of course Keith Richards’ ritualistic Shepherds Pie – we just hope the public had such fun and enjoyed the great atmosphere as we did! – ‘Rock and Roll’ on next Summer!

Launching their new mascara, Maybelline entertained guests with a fabulous fashion show complete with a bespoke range of fresh and healthy canapés with a selection of sweet treats to match the theme.
Working again alongside Maybelline for their Press Day Media Showcase in Shanghai …fyi created food and stunning floral arrangements perfectly matched to Maybelline’s brand identity.
Guests received flight ticket inspired invitations and were asked to ‘check in’ prior to enjoying cocktails in the waiting lounge.

GIG…fyi are honoured to have worked with Google in both the UK and China at their Big Tent Event and Press Conferences.
GIG…fyi ensured that Google was centre stage and left no doubt as to whose event it was… Google colours were everywhere – from the cupcakes to the cocktails and the candy bars. Interactive food and drink stations ensured the delegates were kept well fed and entertained whilst enjoying themselves.

Mark Ronson, tents sourced from Cirque du Soleil, a Bedouin village, BBQ’s, a hog roast, champagne, three course dinner and a full English breakfast the next day plus a fly over – what more could a 21st Birthday have or want?!
With main stages and headliners …fyi worked alongside EMC to ensure the food on offer was fit for a princess and 500 guests!
…fyi designed a menu tailored to the event that reflected the theme and atmosphere of the night – the enticing and beautiful Moulin Rouge… Even once the main event was over …fyi remained on hand to cook and serve breakfast to 100 well rested revellers!
Red Carpet glamour, awards and celebrations, and most of the nations most treasured stars could only be one night of the year – the National Television Awards.

In 2012 Citroën took their newest model of the DS to Beijing, China. The launch event took place in an old water tower that had been revamped in the Art District of Beijing, a spectacular setting for the 600 attendees.
…fyi were on-site to provide catering and hospitality services for the 600 guests who were served a fabulous 4 course dinner following their champagne reception. The dinner consisted of the finest French cuisine produced by our army of 25 chefs, served by over 120 front of house and service staff, conducted by our French maestro Felix Zafra.

Having worked with Red Bull since 1989 watching & helping a little known energy drink become the well known brand it is today. GIG know that Red Bull is so much more than just a drink – so when Red Bull decided that China was next the list GIG…fyi were more than ready to design a catering experience perfectly suited for Red Bull’s official launch into China.
Launched exclusively in China the new flagship model Citroen DS 5LS hit the streets in late March. The launch party was hosted at the spectacular Château Lafite, Beijing. GIG…fyi were on-site to provide a five course sit down dinner for 750 guests with each course designed to stimulate a specific sense; For sound GIG…fyi served up Tepan sizzling beef rib in black pepper sauce arousing the sense & providing luxury food to emulate the design & authenticity of the new model.
Each year the National Television Awards, sees TV personalities from across the nation donning their best frocks and suits ready to compete for those coveted awards. In our 13th year of catering at the NTA’s GIG…fyi know that it is all about the atmosphere and the afterparty! Providing a bespoke service which covered pre-show canapés, VIP & Star Treatment Lounges, Green Room & Press Hospitality along with the crew catering for the entire event and of course the famous afterparty!

With GIG…fyi carefully hand picked to provide a fine selection of canapés and refreshments, one of our most experienced and innovative chefs, Todd, a 2013 Bocuse D’Or finalist created and designed a bespoke menu beautifully tailored to the event.
With a brand renowned for his luxurious and jet-set aesthetic styles and fashion China is the place to be for Michael Kors. Opening his second flagship store in China, the illustrious Sanlitun Village in Beijing, Michael Kors provided a sparkling reception with a drinks and creative canapé reception perfectly styled by GIG…fyi to add to the atmosphere & style of the evening.
adidas Originals© have re-launched the classic Stan Smith trainer in Shanghai. Reportedly the 13th most influential sneaker contract in history, GIG are proud to have supported the re-launch with tailor-made canapés which were an extension of the Stan Smith brand. With a number of influential guests at the event in the fashionable district of Shanghai and GIG provided a ‘classic’ bespoke service.
Jaguar finished 2013 in style by holding a 4-course gala dinner for 350 guests and VIP’s to celebrate the end of a very successful year for the automotive manufacturer. It was an exciting opportunity for GIG to wine and dine guests and celebrities alike. A quintessentially British themed event space was created as the perfect setting for Jaguar to round off the trading year.
Following a memorable awards evening packed with networking and eating, two of our favourite pastimes, we’re proud to announce that we were the winners of the ‘Service Excellence’ category and runner up in our ‘Enterprising Business’ entry and. Holding a media reception and presentation to increase brand awareness at the Shanghai Post Office Museum, …fyi served a flying cocktail & canapé reception with changing flavours & cuisines throughout the evening which matched the delectable luxury of the Lux product.

The one day event held at Alexandra Palace attracted over 20,000 spectators amped up, ready to watch the racers battle the course at speeds upto 40 MPH! Working for Innovision Upbeat provided catering for VIP’s and crew – in 2 areas of the site while our sister company …e2B… provided all the Red Bull branded equipment and drinks.Crew catering was provided for the 4 days prior to the event while the race course was built plus on SoapBox day a VIP racing themed buffet.
The Champions Festival signals the exciting climax to the Champions League – held at a different European city each year, it seemed fitting that this years final should take place in London at the Olympic Park.
Working alongside UEFA Events, …fyi provided canapés and bowl food for official guests and VIPs including the Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith with an array of delicious food – leaving no palate wanting more.
Every so often GIG…fyi have the amazing opportunity to create something really bespoke for someone special. Bringing Colonial India to Highgate, transforming a traditional English Garden into a relaxing and exotic space which transported you to the luxuries of Colonial India with an appropriate menu of traditional Tandoor and Punjabi cuisine, washed down with our Coriander & Lychee Daiquiris and ‘Chai by Night’ cocktails.
Kick starting Nike’s London Olympic Anniversary celebration was a 10K race across London. The one day event attracted 27,000 runners, GIG…fyi provided relaxing ‘green room’ space for VIPs and special guests including Paula Radcliffe to spend time in before and after the 10K run serving canapés and champagne to 120 VIPs plus a glass of champagne to all those dedicated runners to celebrate their achievement – 3000 in total, that’s a lot of corks to pop!
Download festival is the UK’s premier rock festival attracting some of the biggest acts in ‘rock n roll’ including Rammstein, Slipknot and Iron Maiden – one of our longest standing clients, for nearly 30 years!
This year …fyi provided event services for 6 different areas, artist catering, hospitality tent, headline compound, guest pods, dressing rooms & guest area concessions.
Making use of a retro Airstream caravan, converted into a self-contained kitchen …fyi also provided a bespoke menu for Iron Maiden on their headline night including Nico the drummer’s very own recipe for ‘rock n roll’ ribs.
We do love our corporate events! At the beautiful Somerley Estate in Hampshire, Skandia hosted a ‘Family Fun Day’ for 3,000 guests, complete with an Alice in Wonderland theme. Catering for guests, artists and dressing room riders for Eliza Doolittle & the RPJ Band. …fyi kept the guests well fed and hydrated on the hottest weekend of the summer (!) and the crew with a sizzling BBQ buffet complete with Alice in Wonderland themed desserts and drink stations throughout the grounds.
